Hi everyone —
It’s been a while since I last wrote consistently, and before I restart anything, I wanted to take a moment to reset the foundation.
When I first began Kevin’s Journey, I used this newsletter as a place to think out loud — about dentistry, productivity, leadership, and everything I was learning in real time.
Over the past year, a lot has changed for me.
I questioned my career path.
I sold my dental practice.
I redesigned my financial life.
And I found myself moving toward a completely different chapter —
one that didn’t fit neatly into the old version of this newsletter.
Somewhere along the way, I hit what I now think of as a singularity point —
a moment when the old assumptions stopped making sense,
and my future started bending toward something new.
So I’m giving this newsletter a reset.
The new direction is called FUTURE//NOW,
with a simple idea behind it:
The future you want isn’t something you wait for.
It’s something you drag into the present.

And for those of you who’ve been here from the beginning —
I’ll still send the occasional Hump Day Side Quest.
These will feel similar to the newsletters I used to write: quick thoughts on dentistry, operations, productivity, or ideas that helped me make sense of the chaos.
The only real change is that the core of this newsletter now has a clearer direction — a deeper story arc about transition, ownership, and designing a different kind of future.
